Brizee arrived at Lauras house. She rang the doorbell. The door opened and Laura stood there.

      Brizee, Laura said.

      We need to talk, Brizee said going in. Laura closed the door.

      Okay, what about, Laura said.

      I want to know the truth, Laura, did you really blackmail my father or did you steal me or adopt me, did they give me up willingly, Brizee said.

      Brizee, we told you the truth, okay, just let it go and enjoy your life, Laura said.

      Laura, please, tell me the truth, I know something is going on and I want to know what it is, Brizee said. Laura sat down.

      Okay, I didnt blackmail your father, your parents were going through a tough time because you were born around the time Brian was going through his heart problems, Laura said.

      What, Brizee said.

      They couldnt take care of you so they let me adopt you, I couldnt have any children, I grew up with your mother, Laura said.

      You guys lied to me, Brizee said.

      Brizee, we did it to protect you from know the truth, Laura said.

      They didnt want me, Brizee said.

      They did want you, sweetie, but Brian was near death, they thought they were going to lose him, they were even told to start making funeral arrangements, they couldnt handle it, and they wanted you to have a good life so they let me adopt you, Laura said.

      I cant believe this, Brizee said.

      Its the truth, Brizee, Laura said.  Brizee walked out and went to the airport and got on the next flight to Kentucky.

Nick woke up and saw Brizee gone. He got up and went to Jasons room and saw him kicking.

      Hey buddy, wheres Mommy at? Nick said picking him up. He carried Jason downstairs and found a note. He picked it up and read it.

      Hmm, Mommy had to take care of something, shell be back later, its just you and me, what should we do, Nick said. Jason gurgled. Nick sat down with his son and played with him.

Brizee sat on the plane and thought about everything. Once the plane landed, she rented a car and drove to her parents house. She went in and saw her mother in the kitchen.

      Hi Mom, Brizee said.

      Brizee, hi honey, what brings you all the way up here, Jackie said.

      I talked to Laura this morning, she told me the truth, Brizee said.

      What do you mean, Jackie said.

      How you and Dad gave me up for adoption, Brizee said.

      We didnt give you up, Brizee, you were taken from us, by Laura, Jackie said.

      Mom, dont lie to me, Brizee said.

      Brizee, shes not lying, its the truth, Laura called last night threatening to sue us if we didnt give up our rights as parents to you, Harold said.

      So she lied to me, because she wants me to be her daughter, Brizee said.

      Thats right, Brizee, come here, Jackie said. She sat down and held Brizees hand.

      We love you so much, we could never give you up, we were our baby girl, when you were taken, I felt like my life was over, nothing and no one could replace you, honey, we would never lie to you, Jackie said.

      Mom, Im so sorry, Brizee said.

      Its okay, sweetie, you didnt know what was true, we would never lie to you, okay, Jackie said.

      I gotta go, Nick doesnt know where I am so I better get back to Florida, Brizee said. She hugged her parents and went to the airport and got onto the next flight back to Florida.

Nick paced the living room. Kevin and the guys watched him. Kevin looked at Brian.

      Frack, shell be back, Brian said.

      Shes been gone all day, Brian, what could she be doing, Nick said.

      I dont know, Brian said.

Nick went out back. Brian picked up Jason and sat down.

      Where could she have gone, Kev? Brian asked.

      I dont know, Kevin said.  The door opened and Brizee came in.

      Hey, Brizee said.

      Where have you been, Brian said.

      I had some things to do, Brizee said.

      Some things to do? Brian said.

      Yeah, Brizee said.

      Did you have to be gone all day, Nick was worried sick! Kevin said.

      Where is he, Brizee said.

      Out back, Brian said. Brizee went out the back door and saw Nick sitting by the pool.

      Hi, Brizee said.

      Where have you been, Nick said.

      I had to find out something, Brizee said.

      What, Nick said.

      I thought everyone was lying to me, so I went to see Laura and she said that my parents gave me up to her to adopt, willingly and all this stuff so I went to Kentucky to talk to my parents, and it turns out that Laura was lying because she still wants to claim me as her daughter, Brizee said.

      Why couldnt you tell me, Nick said.

      I needed to take care of this on my own, Im sorry, if I hurt you in any way, Brizee said.

      I just wish you would have called if you were leaving the state, Nick said.

      Im sorry, I was angry, I thought what Laura said was the truth, Brizee said. Nick stood up and walked over to her.

      I dont want to lose you, okay, Im not leaving you and I dont want you to leave me, Nick said.
