That night, everyone went back to the hotel. Nick pulled Brizee into the bedroom. 

      Lets finish what we started earlier, Nick said running his hands down her back.  She smiled and ran her hands under his shirt. She pulled it off and he pulled her clothes off and helped her with the rest of his clothes. They laid on the bed and made love.  Afterwards, they laid there holding each other.

      I love you so much, Nick said.

      I love you, too, Brizee said.

      I dont ever want to lose you, Nick said stroking her cheek.

      You wont, Brizee said. He kissed her softly. There was a knock at the door. Brizee got up and got dressed and went out and opened the door and saw Jackie and Harold standing there.

      Hi honey, Jackie said.

      Hi, come in, Brizee said. They went in. Brizee ran to the bedroom and closed the door.

      What is it, Nick said.

      My parents, Brizee said. Nick got dressed. They went out and sat down.

      Whats up, Nick said.

      Brizee, your father and I are going to join you guys on the tour for a week, Jackie said.

      Cool, Brizee said.

      When we leave, we want you to come with us so you can meet the family and then afterwards, you can come back to the tour, Jackie said. Brizee looked at Nick. He looked back at her.

      Um, well Brizee said. Nick walked out.

      Briz, whats wrong with Nick, Harold said.

      He doesnt want me to go, I know him, Brizee said.

      Briz, what has been going on, Harold said. Brizee told them everything.

      Maybe you can come after the tour is over and Nick can come with you, Brian said he was coming home after the tour, so you all can come together, oh, and Kevin, too, Jackie said.

      Now, you go find your man, Harold said. Brizee hugged them and went out the door and knocked on Brians door.  Brittany opened it.

      Hey, um, is Nick here, Brizee said.

      No, why, Brittany said. Brian came up to the door. Brizee told them the story.

      Come on, sis, Brian said. They asked Howie, AJ, and Kevin. No one saw him.  They went to the elevator and got on. The elevator stopped abruptly.

      What the hell, Brian said.

      It must be stuck, Brizee said. Brian checked the phone in the elevator.

      Its not working, and I dont have my cell, do you have yours, Brian said.

      No, Brizee said.

      Dammit, Brian said. Brizee sat down. Brian sat down with her. He pulled her close.

      Itll be okay, sis, they have to find out that the elevator is stuck, Brian said.

      Im scared, Brian, Nick thinks Im going to leave him and now hell think that I have when he cant find me, Brizee said. Brian hugged her.

      Ill talk to him, Brian said.

Meanwhile.

Nick walked into his room and saw Jackie and Harold.

      Hey, wheres Briz, Nick said.

      Shes looking for you, Jackie said.

      I went for a walk and had to come up the stairs because the elevators wouldnt work, Nick said sitting down. Jackie sat down.

      Nick, Brizee is going to wait until after the tour is over to come to Kentucky, so after the tour is over, I want you, Brizee, Brian, Brittany, Kevin, and Theresa to come to Kentucky, Jackie said.

      Thanks, Jackie, Nick said. Jackie hugged him.

      You are like a son to us, Nick, dont forget that, Jackie said.

      I wont, Nick said. The phone rang.

      Hello, Nick said.

      Nick, its Britt, have you seen Brian? Brittany asked.

      No, why, Nick said.

      He went with Brizee to look for you but he hasnt come back, and I thought to see if you came back and I thought he found you, Brittany said.

      I went for a walk and came back and had to go up the stairs because the elevator wouldnt work, Nick said.

      The elevator! Brittany said.

      What, Nick said.

      The elevator must be stuck or something, Brittany said. Nick hung up and ran out. Brittany ran out of her room. Jackie and Harold came out. Nick and Brittany ran to the elevator and banged on the doors.

      Brizee! Nick yelled.

      Brian! Brittany said.

In the elevator..

Brian heard yelling. He stood up and Brizee stood up.

      I think I hear Britt, Brian said.

      I hear Nick, Brizee said.

      Brittany! Brian yelled.

      Nick! Brizee yelled.

Back at Nick and Brittany.

      I hear them, Nick said.

      Jackie, call the front desk, there are two people in the elevator, one of them is a Backstreet Boy, that should get the maintenance people on it fast, Brittany said. Jackie went back to Nicks room.

They heard noises and heard Brizee scream.

      Brizee! Nick said. Kevin, Howie, and AJ came out and together with Nick, they pulled the doors open. They looked and saw the elevator slipping. Kevin saw the cables.

      Oh man, this is not good, Kevin said.

      If those cables snap, they could die, Howie said.

      We have to help them, Nick said.

      Nick, we have to wait for the maintenance guy, AJ said. Nick looked at him.

      My best friend and the woman I love is on that elevator, I cant lose them, Nick said.

      Brizee, Brian, Kevin called.

      Kevin! they heard Brizee yell back.

      The cables look like they are going to break, just hang on, Kevin yelled.

In the elevator

      Briz, Im not going to let anything happen to you, Brian said holding her close.

      Brian, we could die, Brizee said.

      I know, sis, I know, but we gotta have hope, Brian said holding her tight.

The maintenance people arrived. Kevin told them the news. They went to work. Ten minutes later, everything that was needed was all set. They pulled the elevator back up with a big chain. Once the elevator was back up to where they were, Nick and Kevin opened the doors and saw Brian on the floor holding Brizee close. Brizee saw Nick and scrambled out of the elevator and into Nicks arms.

      Thank god! Nick said hugging her tight. Brian got out of the elevator. He hugged Brittany tight. They heard a noise and the chain broke and the elevator fell. Nick held Brizee close. The maintenance guys looked down the shaft.

      Thank god you guys got off when you did, the maintenance guy said. They went downstairs. Nick took Brizee back to their room. Once the door was closed, Nick kissed her hungrily.

      Im sorry for walking out, Nick said.

      We are going to Kentucky after the tour, dont make any plans, Brizee said.

      I know, your mother told me, I dont want to let you out of my sight again, Nick said.

      Good, Brizee said. He picked her up and carried her into the bedroom and they collapsed on the bed, kissing. They pulled each others clothes off and made love. Afterwards, Brizee turned away.

      Baby, whats wrong, Nick said.

      I could have died, Nicky, Brizee said. Nick pulled her close and hugged her tight.
