      Morning, beautiful, Nick said kissing her cheek gently. She reached up and ran her hand through his hair.  He grabbed her hand and kissed her fingers.

      Wheres Jason? Brizee asked.

      With Kev and T, Im not leaving here until you do, Nick said.

      I love you, Nicky, Brizee said.

      I love you, too, baby, Nick said. He kissed her deeply. She pulled back and rested her head on his shoulder.

      What would you have done if I didnt make it, Brizee said. Nick looked at her.

      I would feel like my life was over, Ill probably lose it and go crazy or something, I cant live without you, Briz, I dont ever want to lose you, Nick said. She smiled.

      Im yours forever, Nicky, nothing will keep us apart, Brizee said.

      Good, because Im not letting you go ever, Nick said.

      So Willa hit me, was it on purpose or accident, Brizee said.

      She said it was an accident, Nick said.

      I want to talk to her, Nicky, Brizee said.

      Brizee, it was an accident, I was going to the studio to record some music and wasnt looking at where I was going, I was upset because Carson broke up with me, I didnt mean to hit you, I swear, Im not trying to get Nick back, I have moved on from that, I have changed a lot, and Im not out to destroy your relationship with Nick, I know he loves you and you have a family with him, and I cant ruin that, it was an accident, when I thought you werent going to make it, I lost it, I totally lost it, I prayed and prayed for you to live, Willa said.

      I forgive you, I know you have moved on, it was an accident, it was my fault mostly, I stopped to tie my shoes in the middle of the road, I should have waited until I was over by Nicks Durango or my car, Brizee said.

      I have to go, I just wanted to stop by and tell you the truth, I hope nothing but the best for you two, Im going to move to LA, goodbye, you two, and be happy, Willa said. She waved and left. Nick looked at Brizee.

      Briz, why did you forgive her, Nick said.

      Well, it was my fault, I mean, I stopped in the middle of the road to tie my shoes, I landed myself in here, it was mainly my fault, Brizee said.

      No, its your shoelaces for coming untied in the first place, Nick said.

      Right, blame the shoelaces, Brizee said.

      They came untied, Briz, Nick said.

      Nick, I want to put this behind us, Im going to be fine, Brizee said.

      I know you are, Briz, Nick said.

      One thing, though, Brizee said.

      Whats that? Nick asked stroking her cheek.

      Why cant I feel my legs, Brizee said.

      What, Nick said.

      I cant feel my legs, I cant move them or anything, Brizee said. Nick touched her legs. He went to get Dr. Thomas. Dr. Thomas came in and uncovered her feet and ran his pen on her foot.

      Can you feel that? Dr. Thomas said.

      No, Brizee said.  He ran his pen along her other foot.

      This? Dr. Thomas said.

      No, Brizee said. Nick held her hand.

      Mr. Carter, I will need your help here, can you run this pen all the way up her legs, Brizee, tell us when you can feel the pen, Dr. Thomas said. Nick did as the doctor asked and ran the pen up her legs. He got to her upper thighs.

      I feel it, Brizee said.

      Where? Dr. Thomas said.

      Right below my hip, right here, Brizee said pointing at a spot.

      Okay, we will need to get you to x-ray to see how badly the damage is, Dr. Thomas said. They wheeled her off to x-ray. Nick sat down and stared at the floor. Ten minutes later, Brian, Brittany, Theresa, Kevin, Jason, Kevy, Howie, and AJ came in. Nick took Jason and sat down.

      Wheres Briz? Brian asked.

      X-ray, Nick said.

      Why? Brian asked.

      She couldnt feel her legs, Frick, she might be paralyzed, Nick said.

      Oh man, Brian said.

      She cant feel anything below her hip, Nick said.

      Damn, I thought she was ok, Brian said.

      Yeah, I thought so, too, Nick said. They sat there and waited.
