Three days later, Nick was in the studio, working on some solo material. Brizee decided to surprise him at the studio. She got Jason ready.

      Hey, sweetie, wanna see Daddy, Mommy does, too, lets go see Daddy, Brizee said. Jason cooed. She got Jason in the car and drove to the studio. She got out and got Jason out and walked into the studio with Jason. She walked down the hall.

      Hey Brizee, whats up, Justin Timberlake said.

      Not much, Brizee said as she kept walking. She walked in and saw Nick sitting there writing.  She smiled and snuck up behind him and took Jasons hand and softly tapped Nick on the shoulder.

      Just a second, Nick said.  He stopped writing and looked and saw Jason and smiled.

      Hey Daddy, I wanted to see you, Brizee said in a little childs voice.

      That is so sweet, hey little guy, Nick said taking Jason and cuddling him.

      I wanted to see you, too, Brizee said smiling. Nick got up and kissed Brizees lips.

      I missed you two so much, I know I just saw you two this morning, but I missed you guys, Nick said.

      Awww, well, we missed you, too, Brizee said.

      I was thinking, of doing all this at home, so I can be with you guys, Nick said.

      Its up to you, we dont mind, right little guy, Brizee said smiling at Jason. He giggled.

      I want to be home with you two, Nick said.

      Then what are you waiting for, Brizee said.

      Let me get my stuff together, Nick said. He got his stuff and they walked out of the studio.  Nick walked to his Durango with Jason. He turned and saw Brizee tying her shoelace.

      Briz, Nick said.

      Almost got it, Im coming, Brizee said. Nick turned and put Jason in his carseat and he heard tires squeal and looked and heard a scream and turned and saw the car driving off. He walked over and saw Brizee lying on the pavement not moving. Justin came running out of the studio.

      Nick! Justin called. Nick got Jason and ran over to Brizee.

      Brizee! Nick said.

      Here, let me take Jason, Justin said. Nick handed Jason over to Justin. Nick called 911. He knelt down beside Brizee.

      Justin, take Jason over to my Durango, please, Nick said. Justin went over to Nicks Durango. Nick felt a pulse.

      Dammit, baby, dont you dare leave me! You promised! Nick said. He began CPR.  Justin called Brian. He came back over.

      Nick, man, I called Brian, Justin said.

      Okay, Nick said as he continued doing CPR.

The ambulance arrived and loaded Brizee up and went to the hospital. Nick got Jason and thanked Justin and got into his Durango and went to the hospital. He went up to the VIP floor and went to the nurses station.

      Excuse me, where is my wife, Brizee Carter, she was just brought in, Nick said.

      Shes in ICU, the doctor is with her right now, please have a seat and the doctor will come out to talk to you, a nurse said. Nick sat down with Jason. Brian came in with Brittany, Kevin, Theresa, Kevy, Howie, and AJ.

      Frack, man, what happened? Brian asked.

      Someone hit Briz, I was at my Durango with Jason and I was putting Jason in his carseat, I heard tires squealing and heard a scream, I turned and saw the car leaving and I walked a little and saw Briz lying on the pavement, not moving, Nick said crying.

      Did you see who it was? Brian said.

      No, it was a black car, Nick said.

      How is she, do you know, Brian said.

      I dont know, okay! Nick said. Brittany took Jason. Nick leaned forward and rested his head in his hands.

      Nick Carter, someone said. Nick looked up and saw a doctor.

      Yes, Nick said standing up.

      Im Dr. Thomas, your wifes doctor, Dr. Thomas said.

      How is she? Nick said.

      Could you come with me, please, Dr. Thomas said.

      Dr. Thomas, you can tell us all, Nick said.

      Im her brother, Brian said.

      Im her cousin, Kevin said.

      We are all family here, Dr. Thomas, Nick said.

      Your wife is in critical condition, we are prepping her for surgery, Dr. Thomas said.

      Surgery? Nick asked.

      She is bleeding internally, we need to operate to stop the bleeding, Dr. Thomas said.

      And if you cant? Brian asked.

      She will die if we dont stop the bleeding, Dr. Thomas said.

      Do what you can to save her, Dr. Thomas, I cant lose her, Nick said.

      Ill inform you on her condition after the surgery, Dr. Thomas said. He went back through the doors. Nick sat down. Brian sat down next to him.

      I cant lose her, Frick, I cant, Nick said crying.

      I know, man, I dont either, Brian said.
