That night, Brizee was sitting in the hospital room when the door opened and Adam came in.

      What are you doing here, Brizee said.

      I came to see you, baby, Adam said.

      Get out of here, Brizee said.

      I dont think so, Adam said coming over to her. She pushed the nurses button. Adam ripped the cord and grabbed her.

      Let me go! Brizee cried.

      I dont think so, you are mine! Adam said.

      Im pregnant! Brizee cried. Adam hit her stomach. Brizee cried out in pain.

      Now you arent, Adam said. He pulled her out of bed and carried her out the door.

      Excuse me! a nurse called. Adam ran down the hall. Brizee collapsed to the floor in pain.

      Brizee, Dr. Kelly said.

      My baby! Brizee said holding her stomach.

They got her in bed and took her to the emergency room.

      Call the Carters, now! Dr. Kelly said.

An hour later, Jane, Bob, BJ, Leslie, Aaron and Angel arrived at the hospital with Brian, Howie, AJ, and Kevin.

      Excuse me, wheres Dr. Kelly? Jane asked.

      Shell be right out, Ill tell her you are here, the nurse said. Jane sat down.

      Jane, Dr. Kelly said.

      Dr. Kelly, what happened, Jane said.

      Brizee lost the baby, Dr. Kelly said.

      Oh my god, how? Jane asked.

      We got a buzz from her room, a nurse saw a guy carrying Brizee out and she was in pain, the nurse called to him, he dropped Brizee and ran, she collapsed in pain, Dr. Kelly said.

      Who was he? Bob asked.

      I didnt see him, the nurse didnt get a good look at him, but it wasnt Nick, Dr. Kelly said.

      Oh, we better call Nick, Jane said.

      Willa will come, Brian said.

      Brian, Brizee lost his baby, he needs to be here, Jane said. She called Nick.  Ten minutes later, Nick came in alone.

      Mom, whats going on, Nick said.

      Brizee lost the baby, Nick, Jane said.

      What, Nick said.

      She was attacked in her room, she buzzed the nurses, a nurse went down and saw a guy coming out of Brizees room carrying her, the nurse called to him, he ran off and Brizee collapsed in pain, we checked her room, the buzzer was pulled out, someone was trying to kidnap Brizee, Dr. Kelly said.

      Who was it, Nick said.

      We dont know, Brizee is sleeping, Dr. Kelly said. Nick looked at his mother.

      Where is she, Nick said.

      We moved her to another room, room 234, we have a security guard at the door, Dr. Kelly said. Nick walked down the hall and up to the door.

      Sir? the guard asked.

      Im Nick Carter, Nick said. The guard looked at the list and nodded after Nick showed him his ID. Nick went in and saw Brizee lying there. Nick sat down and took her hand.

      Hey, Briz, Mom and Dr. Kelly told me what happened, I wish I was here, I wouldnt let anything happen to you, Nick said. Brizee opened her eyes.

      Nicky, Brizee said. Nick stroked her forehead.

      Im here, sweetheart, Nick said.

      Our baby is gone, Brizee said crying.

      I know, sweetie, I know, Nick said.

      Nicky, Adam was here, he was trying to take me from the hospital, he killed our baby, Brizee said.

      It was Adam? Nick asked.

      Yes, he hit me in the stomach, hard, Brizee said.

      Damn him, Nick said. Nick ran out.

      Brian! Nick said.

      Nick, Brian said.

      It was Adam, he was trying to take her, call the police! Nick said. Brian nodded and Howie went to the pay phones.

      Nick, how is she, Jane said.
