The next day, they were back on the road to Kentucky. Brizee looked out the window.

      Briz, Nick said.

      What, Brizee said.

      There is something I have to tell you, Nick said.

      You know how AJ was wanting to make love to you? Nick said.

      Um, I asked him to do that, Nick said.

      I just wanted to see if you had any feelings for him, I got my answer at the club, but I guess he wanted you for real so he went to the house, I didnt do that, it was him, I swear, Nick said.

      You are crazy, I dont have any feelings for him! You should have known that! You said you knew me better than anyone, but you didnt if you set the whole thing up, Brizee said.

      Briz, Im sorry, I wasnt thinking at the time, I just wanted to make sure you werent hiding anything from me, Nick said.

      Nick, Im having YOUR baby, not AJs, I LOVED you, not AJ, get the picture! Brizee said.

      What do you mean, loved? Nick asked.

      Yeah, Im not sure now how I feel about you, I dont know if I should hate you or love you, Brizee said.  He pulled into a deserted parking lot and parked the car.

      How could you say that, you know I love you, so I made a mistake, so what, Im sorry, okay, what else do you want me to do, Nick said.

      I want you to get me to my parents house and leave me the hell alone, Brizee said.

      I wont do that, you know what, Im going back to Florida, and you are going, too, Nick said.

      Do you want Brian mad at you, Brizee said.

      Brian knows what I did, he was mad at me, but he understood, you should, too, would you do the same thing I did, if there was someone from my past who was a friend, would you test me to see if I wanted someone else or wanted to be with you, Nick said as he headed back the way they came.

      Nick, Im not going back, Brizee said.

      Well, you are, okay, we are going to work this out, Im not giving up, okay, I told you I was sorry, Nick said.

      Turn the car around and take me to Kentucky now! Brizee said.    

      No, Nick said. Brizee looked at him.

      You are crazy, you blew it with me, you cant trust me, so why bother being together, Brizee said.

      There is a little life growing inside you that is a part of me, I helped create it, Im not going to turn my back on the baby, Briz, its my child, too, and Im going to be there for him or her, Nick said. She sat back and knew he was right about that.

      Fine, but our relationship is over, Brizee said.

      What about friendship, Nick said.

      You mean, go back to being best friends, Brizee said.

      Briz, I want you in my life, and if it isnt as my fiancée, then I would rather have you as my best friend than nothing at all, Nick said.

      Okay, Brizee said.

      Still want to go to your folks, or do you want to go back to Florida, Nick said.

      We are already heading back so, Florida, I guess, Brizee said. She leaned back.

      Briz, why does it have to be like this, of course I trust you, its just that I cant trust AJ around you, he obviously still wants you, Nick said.

      Are you really insecure, to think I couldnt handle it myself, Brizee said.

      I didnt want to lose you and I still dont, Nick said.

      I wanted to see if you could really turned him off, sicne hes so good at flirting and seduction, Nick said.
