The next day, they invited everyone over for a barbecue. Everyone was out back. Theresa and Brittany were in the kitchen with Brizee.

      Briz, we are happy to see you and Nick back together, we thought you two were over for good, Theresa said.

      Yeah, I know, but truth is, I cant live without him, Brizee said. She looked outside and saw Nick holding Hayley and talking with Brian and AJ.

      Briz, you okay, Brittany said.

      Im just so happy, Nick is a great father, he is great with her and she adores him, Brizee said. Nick comes in carrying Hayley who is fussing.

      Mommy, we hungry, Nick said. Brizee smiled and took Hayley. She grabbed a bottle and went upstairs and sat down in the bedroom and fed Hayley. She watched Hayley as she drank the milk and smiled.  AJ came in and saw her.

      Hey, AJ said.

      Hey AJ, whats up, Brizee said.

      You and Nick seem happy AJ said.

      Nick and I are very happy once again, I cant imagine my life without him, Brizee said.

      Briz, my feelings for you have gotten stronger, I thought they went away but they havent, AJ said.

      AJ, you are a great friend, but Im deeply in love with Nick and I am his wife and mother of his child, I dont feel the same way about you, okay, Im sorry, but I dont, Nick is my life and so is Hayley, I am really happy, you are like a brother to me, thats all, nothing more than that, Brizee said. They heard Nicks voice.

      Briz, where are you? Nick asked.

      In the bedroom, baby, Brizee called back. AJ kissed Brizee as Nick came into the bedroom. Brizee pulled back and glared at him.

      AJ, are you crazy! Brizee said angrily. She got up with Hayley. She saw Nick and the look on his face.

      Nicky, he kissed me, I didnt want him to, but he kissed me, Brizee said.

      She wanted it, Nick, she told me that she wants me and not you, AJ said. Brizee turned and glared at him.

      I told you that I love Nick, I never once said that I wanted you, I dont want you, AJ, you may be in love with me, but Im not in love with you! Brizee said. Brian, Howie, Kevin, Theresa, and Brittany came in.

      Whats going on, Kevin said.

      AJ kissed me as Nick walked in and now hes telling Nick that I want him and wanted him to kiss me, he is telling lies! Brizee said angrily.

      AJ, what the hell is the matter with you! Kevin yelled.

      I just cant get over these feelings, I have tried and tried but I cant take it anymore, AJ said.

      Bone, she is married to Nick, she loves him and she is the mother of his child and she doesnt want to live without him, get past these feelings but just leave her alone, okay, dont try anything, Bone, if you care about Briz and Nick, you leave them be, Kevin said.

      No one understands, no one! AJ said. He walked out. Brizee burped Hayley. She looked at Nick. He walked out. Brizee looked at Brian. He nodded and went after Nick. Brian found Nick out back, staring at the pool. Brian sat down.

      Frack, Brian said.

      Im losing her, I just got her back and Im losing her to AJ, Nick said.

      No, you arent, Nick, she loves you, she is staying with you because she wants to be with you forever, Brian said.

      He is in love with her, AJ, I cant sit here and be with her knowing that one of my best friends wants her for himself, Nick said.

      She doesnt feel that way, man, she only wants you, you are her everything, Brian said.

      Maybe I should let him have her, Nick said.

      Nick, no, you just got her back, dont let her go, think of Hayley, think of the love you have for each other, Brian said. Nick looked at Brian.

      I cant, I have to let her go, Nick said.

      No, Brizee said from behind him.

      Briz, I have to, I cant go on knowing that AJ is in love with you, he was hurt when Kevin said to leave you alone, he wants you, AJ wants you and I cant take it anymore, Im filing for a divorce and you go be with AJ! Nick said. He walked out.

      Nick, wait! Brizee said following him out. He opened the door to his Durango.

      Briz, I have to do this, Nick said.

      You are walking out of me, your wife, and your daughter, Nick, you dont have to do this, I dont love AJ! I love you! Brizee said crying.

      I have to, Nick said. He got in and drove off. Brizee went in just as Kevin, Howie, Theresa, Brittany came downstairs.

      Hayley is sleeping, Kevin said.

      Briz, what happened, Howie said.

      Nick left me! Brizee said.

      Why, Kevin said.

      Cause of AJ and him being in love with her, Brian said. Kevin sighed.

      I got to get out of here, Brizee said.

      Briz, just go lay down, okay, Kevin said. Brizee went up and laid down and went to sleep.

Brizee woke up and looked around and saw that she was in a hospital room. She moved her head and saw Nick sitting there. He was holding her hand and his chin was on his hand and he was staring at the window.

      Nick, Brizee said softly. He looked at her and smiled.

      Hey, you, about time you woke up, Nick said.

      What happened? Brizee asked.

      You were in a car accident, a drunk driver hit your car, you went into a coma and I was scared that you were never going to wake up, Nick said.

      What, how long was I in a coma? Brizee asked.

      Two weeks, I never left your side, Nick said.

      It was a dream, oh my god, it was a dream, Brizee said staring at the ceiling.

      What do you mean? Nick asked.

      I dreamt that you and I got together and we were happy and then I got pregnant with your baby, and then I cheat on you with Kevin and then, we got back together, we were fine, happy, and later on, I had the baby, and we named her Hayley Jane, and then I pushed you away over something so stupid so me and your mother planned a wedding, and we got married and went to Hawaii, I had weird dreams there that I dont want to talk about, and then we came back and then Willa drugs you and blackmails you into sleeping with her for two months, and we separate but we get back together only to be torn apart by AJ falling in love with me, what a dream, Brizee said.

      Wow, you and I, huh, Nick said.

      Yeah, so whats up, what has happened since the accident, anything? Brizee asked.

      Britt and Brian are engaged, Nick said.

      Really, cool, Brizee said.

      And Theresa just found out that shes pregnant, Kevins really excited, Nick said.

      What about the parental units, are they asking the usual question, Brizee said.

      When are you and Briz going to get together, they dont get it, Nick said.

      I know, Brizee said.

      Im glad youre all right, I dont know what I would do without my best friend, Nick said.

      Where is everybody, Brizee said.

      Out in the waiting room, Nick said.

      Cool, Brizee said.

      Wanna see them, Nick said.

Nick walked out to the waiting room and saw Brian, Brittany, Theresa, Kevin, AJ, and Howie sitting there.

      Hey, shes awake, she wants to see you all, Nick said. They all followed him down to Brizees room and went in.

      Brizee! they said.

      Hey guys, Brizee said. Everyone hugged her.

      How are you feeling, girl, Brian said.

      Im glad to be awake, Brizee said.

      We are, too, you scared us there, Theresa said.

      Im sorry, you guys, Brizee said.

      Not your fault, girl, we are just glad you are okay, AJ said.

      Thanks, Bone, Brizee said.

      You probably want to rest, Kevin said.

      I have been resting for two weeks, Brizee said.

      I mean, on your own, Kevin said.

      Oh right, Brizee said.

      Well talk to you tomorrow, okay, Kevin said.

They hugged her and left. Nick sat down.

      Nick, go home and rest, okay, Im fine, Brizee said.

      I wanna stay, Im not leaving until you leave, Nick said. Brizee sighed.

      Then I guess the parental units will have something to talk about, Brizee said.

      Briz, I dont care, okay, you are my best friend, okay, Nick said.

      I know, Nick, I know, but you dont have to be here every minute, okay, I am fine, you go home, take a shower, eat, rest, Ill be here and Ill call if I need you, Brizee said.

      Briz, there is something I have to tell you, Nick said.

      What is it, Brizee said.

      Willa and I got back together, we talked after the show that night, and we decided to try again, Nick said.

      Nick, are you crazy, she hurt you, she hit you and hurt you, she used you! Brizee said angrily.

      She realized her mistake and she does care about me, Briz, she saved your life, Nick said.

      What, Brizee said.

      She was driving along and saw the wreck and she ran over to your car and called 911, there was a doctor there so she and the doctor got you out of your car and Willa did CPR, the doctor on the scene said if she hadnt have did CPR, you would have died, Nick said.

      Maybe I should have, Brizee said looking out the window.

      Dont you say that, Brizee, do not say that again, you have a lot of people who care about you and dont want anything to happen to you! Nick said.

      Oh yeah, who, Nick, huh, who cares about me, obviously you dont, Brizee said.

      I do care, Nick said.

      Then show it, get rid of Willa, get her out of your life, because its going to be like before, she will hate me for being your best friend, you wont hang out with me, you wont have anything to do with me, like last time you two were together, it was like I never existed to you! Brizee cried.

      Briz, I cant, Nick said.

      Then get out and never come near me again, Brizee said. He walked out. Brizee sighed. She looked out the window. She heard a noise and looked and saw Brian at her door. He came over and hugged her.

      I lost him, B, I lost my best friend, Brizee said.
