Nick leaned against the wall. He saw Willa sitting there crying and went over to her.

      If she dies, it will be on your head, Nick said.

      Mr. Carter, Dr. Thomas said.

      How is she? Nick asked.

      We got her back, but shes on life support, if she goes again, we might not be able to get her back, Dr. Thomas said. Willa started sobbing. Brian looked at her.

      Can I go in there? Willa asked.

      NO! Nick said angrily.

      Nick, let her go in there, Brian said. Willa went into the room and closed the door and sat down.

      Nick needs you, look at him, do you want to leave him, after you promised you would never leave him, Jerald said. Brizee looked at Nick and went back into the room and heard Willa crying.

      I guess I have no other choice but to go back, Brizee said. Jack smiled.

      Well be watching over you and the family, Brizee, you are needed here, Jack said.

Kevin came down the hallway with Theresa and Kevy. Nick looked up and got up. Theresa handed Kevy to Kevin and hugged Nick close. Nick buried his face in her neck and cried. Theresa held him close.

      Shh, Nicky, keep praying, Theresa said.

      I cant lose her, T, I cant! Nick cried. Theresa looked at Kevin.  Willa came out.

      What are you doing here, Kevin said.

      I hit her, it was an accident, Nick, shes fine! Willa said.

      What, Nick said looking at her.

      Shes awake, and asking for you, Willa said. Nick ran into the room and saw Brizee.

      Brizee! Nick said walking over to the bed.

      Hey, Brizee said. Nick hugged her gently. Dr. Thomas came in.

      Mr. Carter, may I check my patient? Dr. Thomas said. Nick kissed Brizees forehead and went back out.

      Well, Brian said.

      Shes awake, Nick said smiling.

      Nick, I am sorry that this happened, but Im glad she woke up, you need her and so does your son, I knew she couldnt leave you two, Willa said.

      Willa, I know you moved on, but if you do it again, accident or not, you will pay, Nick said. Willa nodded and left. Howie and AJ came up to them.

      Hey, whats up, AJ said.

      Shes awake! Nick said. Dr. Thomas came out.

      Mr. Carter, your wife is going to be just fine, well move her to her own room, Dr. Thomas said.

      You can go in now, Dr. Thomas said. Nick went in and sat down on the bed.
